THESE DURABLE 500-MICRON ALUMINIUM SPREADER PLATES PROVIDE AN EFFICIENT SOLUTION FOR INSTALLING WATER UNDERFLOOR HEATING BETWEEN TIMBER JOISTS WHERE A TRADITIONAL SCREED SYSTEM IS NOT SUITABLE. DESIGNED FOR HIGH-OUTPUT SYSTEMS USING 150MM PIPE CENTRES, THEY ENABLE FAST HEAT TRANSFER WITH MINIMAL IMPACT ON FLOOR BUILD-UP HEIGHT.

INSTALLATION
THE SPREADER PLATES ARE POSITIONED ABOVE THE TIMBER JOISTS AND FIXED USING FLAT-HEAD NAILS OR SUITABLE SCREWS. THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING PIPE IS THEN PRESSED INTO THE OMEGA-SHAPED CHANNELS, PROVIDING A SECURE AND EFFECTIVE CONTACT FIT.
HOW THEY WORK
WARM WATER CIRCULATING THROUGH THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING PIPE TRANSFERS HEAT INTO THE ALUMINIUM PLATE. THE PLATE DISTRIBUTES THE HEAT EVENLY ACROSS ITS SURFACE, TRANSFERRING IT THROUGH THE FLOOR STRUCTURE AND INTO THE ROOM ABOVE.
THE HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF ALUMINIUM PROVIDES RAPID HEAT RESPONSE, ALLOWING THE ROOM TO WARM UP QUICKLY AFTER THE SYSTEM IS SWITCHED ON. WITH A THICKNESS OF ONLY 0.5MM, THE PLATES ADD MINIMAL FLOOR HEIGHT, MAKING THEM IDEAL FOR RETROFIT INSTALLATIONS OVER SUSPENDED OR JOISTED TIMBER FLOORS.
